Day 1 Broome – 16th June (D)

Today upon arrival you will be transferred from the airport to your hotel. Spend the afternoon exploring at your leisure: Welcome Dinner

Day 2 Aboriginal Mangrove tour & Discover Broome Town Tour – 17 June (B, Sunset platter)

This morning, enjoy a private mangrove tour with local Yawuru man Bart Pigram, This afternoon we take some other highlights of Broome with entertaining & informative commentary from your local guide. Your tour will include a walking tour around historical Chinatown, a visit to Town Beach and the moving Japanese Cemetery. We then drive the coastal track to the home of dinosaur footprints witnessing stunning coastal vistas. Our afternoon tour sees us on the world-famous Cable Beach enjoying drinks and a gourmet platter as the sun sets over the Indian Ocean.

Day 3 – Depart Broome -18 June (B, L)

This morning we will travel through the remote and beautiful landscape of the Western Kimberley, learning of local history, people and the environment crossing the Fitzroy River and visiting the famous Prison Boab Tree. We arrive in the township of Derby to begin our journey on the remote cattle track, the Gibb River Road. A short stop at the wonderful ‘’Mowanjum’’ Aboriginal Art & Cultural Centre introduces us to the Wandjina & Gwion Gwion spirits, so important in this region. We continue our travels towards the Napier Range, home to a diverse array of animals and plants.We experience stunning natural beauty of an outback oasis of Windjana Gorge and then exploring Tunnel Creek, a 750-metre cave system carved through the Range, As the sun sets we journey through the Oscar Ranges and groves of majestic Boab trees before arriving at our comfortable accommodation on the banks of the Fitzroy River.

Day 4 – Halls Creek, 4WD Spring Creek Track- 19 June (B, D)

This morning we depart Fitzroy Crossing, breaking the journey to the Bungle Bungles with a visit to the gold rush town of Halls Creek. We then depart the main highway to venture into Purnululu National Park by way of the 4WD Spring Creek Track where late afternoon we arrive at private Bungle Bungles Savannah Lodge, our home for the next 2 nights.

Day 5 – Bungles Touring- 20 June (B,L,D)

We have a full day to explore the highlights of this extraordinary World Heritage protected Purnululu National Park, the most famous of which, are the Bungle Bungle domes. Rivers created this landscape of unique orange and black striped ‘beehive’ geological formations over a period of 20 million years..We explore Echidna Chasm (2km) and take a short walk (2-3km) into stunning Cathedral Gorge, where towering rocks create a natural amphitheatre. This evening view a sensational sunset enjoying drinks & nibbles.

Day 6 – Scenic Helicopter Flight, China Wall- 21 June (B)

This morning we have the option of an inspiring helicopter scenic flight over the Bungle Bungles. Then heading by way of the Spring Creek Track, we visit the interesting natural feature of China Wall. A natural quartz formation that runs six kilometres along the landscape. Continuing towards Fitzroy Crossing we call into a remote Aboriginal Community, known for its outstanding art and progressive school (note: visits can-not always be guaranteed).

Day 7 – Geikie Gorge Cruise- 22 June (B)

An early departure takes us via Geikie Gorge National Park where we explore the magnificent Darngku by boat. The best way to experience the scenery and abundant wildlife of this natural wonder is to join the Geikie Gorge Ranger-guided Cruise (included). Departing Fitzroy Crossing, we traverse the West Kimberley, crossing the Fitzroy River once again prior to arriving in Broome in the late afternoon where we check into the Mangrove Hotel

Day 8 –Cape Leveque – 23 June (B, L)

Departing early this morning we journey north of Broome, up the spectacular Dampier Peninsula. Travelling up the red ‘pindan’ 4WD track, learn about the peninsula’s fascinating place in Australia’s history from your local driver guide. Our first stop is the Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community, home of the Beagle Bay Church and its glimmering pearl shell altar, where we enjoy morning tea.

Continuing north to the remote One Arm Point Community, it’s the perfect place to view the spectacular Buccaneer Archipelago and witness the huge tidal flows of the Kimberley, where we visit the Community’s aquaculture hatchery. Arriving at beautiful Cygnet Bay we join a fascinating Pearl Farm Tour where we learn about the world’s largest and most beautiful pearls that have been farmed in these pristine waters for generations by the family owned business. We have a delicious lunch at the pearl farm in their restaurant overlooking beautiful Cygnet Bay.

At stunning Cape Leveque, we let the tyres down on the 4WD and drive along the beach to our secluded stop. Enjoy a swim and leisurely beach walk prior to our trip back along the track.

Day 9 –Day at Leisure – 24 June (B)

Day 10 – 25 June – Dinosaur Adventure (B, refreshments and nibbles)

Enjoy a fully guided tour in custom build shallow landing vessel and discover Broome from a new perspective.

See perfectly preserved 120-Million-year old fossilized dinosaur footprints and enjoy a leisurely cruise up Dampier Creek getting up close and personal with the flora and fauna of these specular surroundings while enjoying sparkling wine and gourmet nibbles. This evening, we are in for a treat with the natural phenomenon ‘’Staircase to the Moon’’. The Mangrove Hotel is one of the best places to watch! Farewell dinner

Day 11- 26 June – Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park – Staircase to the Moon (B,D)

This morning we get up close and personal with over 2,500 crocodiles! Experience the feeding tour and the rogue Crocodile alley. Enjoy a guided tour though out the park, including a wildlife and native bird tour, this evening at leisure or for some last-minute shopping.

Day 12- 27 June – depart Broome (B)

Sadly, today we depart Broome as we are transferred to the airport for our homeward flight.
