Journey crafted from years of experience…
Your tour escorts Hoang Nguyen from Hoi An Vietnam and Glenn Jarvis from The Travellers Hut have combined with Asia DMC to craft a two week exploration journey to Southern Vietnam and Cambodia. We visit the major cities of Saigon (Ho Chi Minh), Phnom Penh, the Mekong towns of Can Tho and Chau Doc, time by the sea at Kep and finishing with a visit to the temples of Angkor in Siem Reap.
Glenn has travelled to Vietnam on over 35 occasions on personal holidays and as a guest of hotels, tour operators, wholesalers and tourism associations also for over 12 years has been leading our Destination Journeys through Vietnam and Cambodia, Myanmar, Japan and India. Our journeys are as a result of Glenn’s experiences over the years and wanting to provide the immersive experiences showcased during his visits to the region, experiences that the larger tour companies do not offer.
Hoang Nguyenwas born in Hoi An and has been assisting us in escorting our journeys to Vietnam over the past 8 years. Hoang provides a locals perspective with his ability to help us interact with the locals, choose our menus and help us grab some bargains when shopping. Having Hoang with his infectious smile and typically gentle Vietnamese demeanour with us on tour is an exclusive dynamic bonus that our guests enjoy.
LUXPERIA DMC is our new local operator, helping Glenn and Hoang to bring new and more interactive experiences as they are developed, ensuring we are offering the best hotels, experiences and knowledgeable local guides for our journeys.
Glenn and Hoang have carefully selected our hotels after personally staying in, or inspecting, all of the hotels we include to ensure that we are providing quality hotels that add to our journey with their location, look and feel. We try to avoid the ‘chain hotels’ and choose quality and stylish hotels that add character and local flavour.
SAIGON – Elegant
CAN THO – Charmingly colonial
CHAU DOC – Focus on the scenery
PHENOM PENH – Opulent
KEP – Relaxing & quirky
